Matt Andersen and friends Corey Tetford, Kim Dunn and Chris Kirby came together on December 20th,2025 for a fundraising event held at our venue. The event was in support of Mike Little of the Hello Darlins in his recent battle with cancer. The group was joined by Hello Darlins band members Kyle Mosiuk, Adam Dowling and Brett Ashton in the second set. What a night!! Thanks to the donation of all their talents the event was able to raise $6000 for Mike. Well wishes from all his East Coast friends were sent with great music and lots of love.

When I attended the concert at Baccardax hall this fall I felt happy again. I knew how much work went into this event, and with master local musicians, I could feel the living energy of the community rise again. The hall looked beautiful once more and so full of friendly good cheer- this felt like a symbol of all we had been going through in the last two years, and finally released into a fresh new fellowship. The deep intertwined roots of the audience, the performers and the venue coming together, felt like the frayed edges being woven back together finally. This is a feeling at one with the energy that needs to be nurtured right now in our rural communities.
