The Society received a grant from the province to help renovate the stage on the main floor of the hall. With Matt Andersen and the Big Bottle of Joy Band booked for September 2021 the stage needed to be opened up, and rewired. This was our first renovation project and luckily Ed Benoit’s Woodworkers were ready to get to work. We got the job done in time and boy did we use every inch of the stage for the “Out of the Woods” festival!
The following spring, with more help from the province, we were able to paint the whole room and give it some style. Ed Benoit’s Woodworkers worked with us to design and install millwork that totally transformed the space. 16foot ceilings and plywood walls are a challenge to any decor, but the outcome is one we are proud to reveal. The hall has a new lease on life! Painting pros RSR Painting made this job seem like a breeze. We know it wasn’t! Many thanks to these contractors who showed up and made the magic happen.
